With an enterprise scale Cloud storage, networking and virtualisation product we have an incredibly exciting opportunity for an experienced SRE to join a fast growing global platform. With their very own native cloud being built and using new tools & technologies like Golang, Kubernetes, Prometheus and Grafana we're really excited by the growth and opportunity this business provides.
You'll join an already very experienced engineering team and work closely with Software developers and Senior stakeholders to help with the architecture and configuration of a unique cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible to ensure the environment is developed, configured, deployed, monitored and managed correctly to support the business. You will help initiate decisions on the configuration of servers and storage, troubleshooting performance issues, ensuring the highest level of reliability for the platform, customising the environment for maximum scalability, cost efficiency, and security.
Key Skills for the Go Site Reliability Engineer:
Solid foundation using Go as a primary technology stack
Experience using Kubernetes
Experience using Prometheus and Grafana for metrics and visualisation
A background in designing, building, managing and operating the infrastructure as a service layer
Ensuring SLA's and SLO's are met
